Ahn Cheol-soo, chairman of the Presidential Transition Committee, said, "I plan to do my best to complete the work for the country until the end of my tenure as the task of the transition chairperson is a serious task for the future of the country and the people."

Chairman Ahn met reporters on the way to work and said this as he normalized his work a day after boycotting the transition committee.

Regarding the meeting with President-elect Yoon Seok-yeol, he emphasized, "There was something that could damage the spirit of the common government, but we shared the view that there should be no disappointment to the people again."

However, he declined to comment on the question of how the spirit of common government was undermined.

Chairman Ahn said, "We have decided to discuss in-depth about general state affairs, personnel management, and policies. I decided to get involved.”
