“The whole family was cut with knives, partially killed, the households and huts were burned down.

The corpses of the victims were thrown into the fire,” the document says.

It is said that the nationalists attacked the parishioners of the church and brutally killed the priest.

“Bandera broke his arms and legs, and then shot him in the mouth, as a result of which he died,” the document of August 23, 1944 says.

According to the archives, the nationalists began to serve the Nazis from the first days of the Great Patriotic War.

“Immediately after the German attack on the USSR, the OUN members issued anti-Soviet appeals, and also organized the Ukrainian rifle corps,” the documents say.

On March 21, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the launch of the Archives Remember Everything project, which is dedicated to proving the crimes and atrocities of Ukrainian nationalists against their people during the Great Patriotic War.
