Taiwan's foreign affairs department caters to Abe's hype about the situation in the Taiwan Strait. Taiwanese people ask: Why are you fanning the flames?

Overseas Network, April 14th. Former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has repeatedly made wrong remarks related to Taiwan recently, fanning the flames of the situation in the Taiwan Strait, while the DPP authorities catered to the hype and were criticized by Taiwanese netizens.

According to Taiwan's "East Sen News Cloud" and other media reports, the US "Los Angeles Times" published a commentary article by former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on the 12th. He falsely claimed that "the United States should make it clear to the world that it will stand up to 'defend Taiwan'." Taiwan's foreign affairs department Spokesman Ou Jiangan hurriedly catered to the hype on the 13th, claiming to sincerely "thank" Shinzo Abe for his continued attention to the situation in the Taiwan Strait and his adherence to the "friendly Taiwan" position.

However, the Taiwanese people did not buy it when the Taiwanese foreign affairs department cooperated with Abe's hype.

Some netizens left a message saying, "The Japanese officials who have left office are fanning the flames, why does the DPP want to be happy?" "Do they have to embark on a militant path?" "These politicians really think that other people's children will never die. ."

Abe has repeatedly made erroneous remarks related to Taiwan recently. In response to Abe's remarks, Zhu Fenglian, a spokesperson for the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, said on March 23 that some people in Japan made erroneous remarks on Taiwan-related issues, which were of a very bad nature.

We urge these people in Japan to deeply reflect on the lessons of history, not to make mistakes again and again on Taiwan-related issues, to correct their mistakes immediately, and return to the right path of abiding by the one-China principle.

The attempts of the DPP authorities to rely on external forces to seek "independence" are doomed to failure.
