The Investigative Committee will check the information of the Ministry of State Security of the Lugansk People's Republic that active members of the armed forces and police of NATO countries were seconded to the OSCE mission in Donbass.

According to the LPR, "the contingent included former military men with experience in counterintelligence or operational-search activities."

The ministry of the republic clarified that "scouts legalized their status as diplomatic agents" and had the appropriate privileges and immunity.

The head of the Russian Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin instructed to study this information and give a legal assessment of the actions of the international organization.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, answering a question from RT, commented on media reports that the technical devices of the OSCE SMM, which were intended to technically fix the ceasefire on the line of contact in Donbass, could be used to correct the artillery strike of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
