Ri Chun-hi, a representative announcer of North Korea's Chosun Central TV, received a luxury house in Pyongyang.

The Rodong Sinmun reported that General Secretary Kim Jong-un attended the completion ceremony of the high-end residential district along the Potong River in Pyongyang held ahead of Kim Il-sung's 110th birthday, and that announcer Ri Chun-hee was awarded a luxury house.

General Secretary Kim said, "There is nothing to waste for the treasures of a country like Li Chun-hi, who has embroidered a noble life with the revolutionary microphone given by the party for over 50 years since she was a young girl."

He also encouraged announcer Lee, saying, "Even at the age of 80, the voice of the party and the voice of Juche Joseon are still resounding with the spirit and passion of youth."

The Rodong Sinmun reported that General Secretary Kim took Li Chun-hi's hand affectionately and moved to Building No. 7, where Li Chun-hi would live, and took a commemorative photo with his family.

Li Chun-hi, who debuted as an announcer in 1971 at the age of 79 this year, swept major North Korean awards, including the Kim Il-sung Award and Kim Jong-il Citation, and received the titles of 'People's Broadcasting Service' and 'Hero of Effort', the highest honors of a North Korean announcer.

The completion ceremony for the luxury housing district attended by Secretary-General Kim Jong-un was a high-end terrace-style residential area built on the banks of the Potong River in Pyongyang.

This site is the site of the residence of Kim Il-sung until he moved to the President's Palace in the 1970s, and is considered one of the most famous places in Pyongyang.
