Electronic music will take over Madrid for 24 hours.

It will be tomorrow when

the celebration of the Elrow Town festival brings together some 30,000 people

, according to the organization's estimates, in the Mad Cool space in Valdebebas around the sounds of Adam Beyer, Fisher, Kölsch or Jamie Jones during a day full of concerts.

Given this event, the City Council of the capital has been forced to plan an alternative mobility system through the Environment and Mobility Area and in collaboration with the organizers of the event, the Municipal Police, Metro, Cercanías, EMT and the services of the capital's taxi to guarantee the movement and safety of those attending the event, who are expected to travel throughout the day since

the concerts will begin at 12 in the morning and end at 11 at night.

It will be first thing in the morning, with the opening of the doors, when the largest number of spectators will arrive.

Around 40%, according to the calculations provided by the event, which this year celebrates its first edition in the capital and which

will affect circulation preferably in the streets surrounding the venue

: the northern area of the Avenida de las Fuerzas Armadas, the east from Alejandro de la Sota avenue, the southern slope of the M-11, and the western part of Francisco Umbral street.

But these will not be the only ones on which the Consistory will act, which

recommends that residents in the area go to their homes on Francisco Pi y Margall avenue

.

The Mobility Area will restrict the passage of vehicles to avoid crowds on the east side of Francisco Umbral Street -except for the shuttle buses that go to the site to deposit passengers-;

in the access to the roundabout of Isidro González Velázquez from the streets Francisco Umbral, Emma Penella and Avenida de las Fuerzas Armadas;

at the entrance to the Antonio Perpiñá roundabout from Juan Antonio Samaranch streets and Avenida de las Fuerzas Armadas, and on Alejandro de la Sota avenue.

To guarantee the safety of pedestrians and the use of public transport, the municipal mobility plan has also opened

two pedestrian paths to connect the main stations: one in the north and the other in the south

.

The first with the Valdebebas Cercanías station and the EMT and taxi stops on the Avenida de las Fuerzas Armadas.

The second will link the site with the Feria de Madrid and Mar de Cristal Metro stations.

In addition to this, Metro also plans reinforcements at the rush hour of departure on line 8 and a specific stop for taxis and a meeting point for vehicles with a VTC license will be set up on Avenida de las Fuerzas Armadas.

In addition, the City Council, through the EMT, will launch

a special free line that will operate between 11:00 p.m. and 12:00

a.m.

These vehicles will connect the Valdebebas enclosure with the Plaza de Castilla interchange for a direct 15-minute journey and passenger access is only allowed at the head of Valdebebas.

These will not be the only alternatives available to those attending Elrow Town, who will also be able to take advantage of bus lines 171 (Mar de Cristal-Valdebebas) and 174 (Plaza de Castilla-Valdebebas) as well as the N-2 (Cibeles-Valdebebas ) when night service begins.

Finally, it will be the festival itself that will provide one more option for those who come to this electronic music festival.

The organizers of Elrow Town will enable a shuttle bus line that will connect the Mad Cool venue with the Fabrik nightclub

, one of the cradles of techno and electronic music in the Community, located in Humanes, at the end of the day.

The second part of this festival will take place there.
