  On April 11 and 12, after the closing of the party congresses in Qingdao and Jinan, the new leadership of the municipal Party committees of the two cities were elected.

  It is worth mentioning that Liu Qiang (born in March 1971), Secretary of the Jinan Municipal Party Committee, is the youngest Party Secretary of the 15 sub-provincial cities.

  Liu Qiang, a native of Haiyuan, Ningxia, studied at China Agricultural University when he was young.

Graduated from the School of Economics and Management, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, majoring in management science and engineering, with an on-the-job postgraduate degree and a doctorate in management.

  Before being transferred to Shandong, Liu Qiang worked in the financial system for a long time.

In 2018, 47-year-old Liu stressed that he was appointed as the vice governor of Shandong Province, leaving the financial system to work in local party and government departments.

In 2020, he served as a member of the Standing Committee and Secretary-General of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee. In March this year, Liu Qiang became the Secretary of the Jinan Municipal Party Committee.

  Liu Qiang is currently the youngest member of the Standing Committee of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee.

  At present, the "post-70s" municipal party secretaries in the sub-provincial cities include: Liu Jie, secretary of the Hangzhou Municipal Party Committee, born in January 1970, and Cui Yonghui, secretary of the Xiamen Municipal Party Committee, born in November 1970.

  Ningbo, a sub-provincial city, also has personnel news recently. On April 12, at the third plenary meeting of the first session of the 16th Ningbo Municipal People's Congress, Tang Feifan was elected mayor of Ningbo.

  Tang Feifan was born in Hangzhou in March 1972. He worked in the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Communications for a long time and then in Quzhou City.

In February this year, Tang Feifan was transferred from the position of secretary of the Quzhou Municipal Party Committee to Ningbo, and served as the deputy secretary of the Ningbo Municipal Party Committee, deputy mayor and acting mayor.

  Tang Feifan once received media attention for bringing goods through live broadcast.

In February 2020, the peak sales season of Quzhou ponkan encountered the new crown pneumonia epidemic.
