The meeting, which was held via videoconference, was attended by the Chief of the General Staffs of the Armed Forces of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, as well as the head of the CSTO General Staff Anatoly Sidorov and the CSTO Deputy Secretary General Takhir Khairuloev.

At the meeting, they determined the procedure for implementing the proposals that were made by the defense ministers of the CSTO member countries on January 13.

The parties also considered the issues of holding joint events of operational and combat training in 2022, identified areas for further work to improve the organization of international flights of aviation of the armed forces of the CSTO countries.

The parties concluded that the results of the meeting of the Military Committee would contribute to the strengthening of the collective security system and the maintenance of regular security.

In March, the CSTO countries held consultations on the preparation of joint and special exercises.
