A 21-year-old Syrian immigrant turned into a hero in America, after its police pointed out the man who was the first wanted in her for 29 hours. Wednesday.

However, matters certainly did not end for Zakaria Dahan, or Zack as his first name is abbreviated, until after he reaps the fruits of his heroism, the first of which is that he receives from the city police a reward, previously announced that it will be given to whoever leads her to the wanted Frank James, 62 years old, and the amount of 50 thousand dollars.

Zak confirmed that he "didn't sleep," and that he was looking at the suspect's picture and wished they could arrest him, and he said: "I did that... Praise be to God."

He concluded his speech by saying: "I am from Syria .. I am from Jersey (New Jersey)."

The founder of the Arab American Institute "AAIUSA", James Zogby, transmitted the video clip via Twitter, and said in his tweet: "The man who managed to identify the shooter in the New York subway, listen to him: 'I'm from Syria, I'm from Jersey', thank you Zack. Because you made us feel proud."

Dahan, an immigrant for 5 years in New York, and a worker in a company that installs surveillance cameras of all kinds, according to "Al Arabiya.net" and according to a number of communication sites and local media, yesterday what looked like a press conference was held on the street, where dozens of journalists and curious people surrounded him, Some of them demanded that the reward be doubled, because no one knows what Frank James would have done, had he remained hidden.

With his operation, the unknown motive for it so far, James directly injured 10 people, and wounded 13 others, by detonating a smoke bomb and firing 33 bullets from a semi-automatic pistol, which they later found at the scene, along with 3 ammunition tanks, an axe, some fireworks and a container of gasoline, which indicates that He planned a massacre, but his pistol suddenly betrayed him and broke down, so he fled from the place and disappeared, leaving those nearby in great terror, including Dahan, who was heading to work and saw him.

And the next day, that is, yesterday, Wednesday, Zakaria Dahan was installing one of the surveillance cameras, and he appeared in it, while he was in the East Village neighborhood in Manhattan, according to what he told reporters, and he whispered to himself and said: “Oh, my God, this is the man (..) he was carrying A bag on his shoulder and walking on the sidewalk, then put it in the street, the moment I saw many people coming from behind him, so I went and said to them: Please go some distance, this man will do something.” Then he glimpsed a police car, so he hurried to the people in it and told them about him, and within minutes James ended up arrested.

And there has been constant confusion for now, about the name of Zakaria’s family, Dahan or Tahhan, but the most popular on the communication sites is that it is Dahan, noting that the American Bloomberg Agency said that he is a Syrian immigrant, whose name is Zak Tahan.
