A 51-year-old man was seriously injured by a bull this Tuesday evening at his workplace in Coublucq (Pyrénées-Atlantiques).
The employee of a livestock trading company was gored by the animal, which caused him multiple injuries, says

The accident reportedly happened when the cattle got out of the truck that had transported it.

The animal is a fighting bull.
Its owner witnessed the attack and reacted by killing the cattle.
However, no details regarding the death of the bull have been released.
Firefighters from the Arzacq-Arraziguet barracks (Pyrénées-Atlantiques) were dispatched to the scene of this work accident.
They got there around 9:45 p.m.
These first responders were then joined by emergency doctors from Smur.
They took care of the medical care of the agricultural employee, who was transferred by road to the Pau hospital center.
