She highly affirmed the efforts of Chinese female soldiers in the cause of peacekeeping, and expressed her appreciation for their full work enthusiasm and selfless dedication.

  Major Dortlander said when communicating with Chinese female peacekeepers that China's support for UN peacekeeping has set an example for all parties.

She praised the female strength of Chinese female soldiers in important positions, especially mine clearance.

"You are a real role model. With your encouragement, I believe that more women will be involved in peacekeeping."

  During the event, Major Dortland also focused on the theme of safeguarding women's rights and interests, and analyzed how to better play their roles under the premise of ensuring the safety of female soldiers.

  Chinese female soldiers shared their experience of participating in peacekeeping operations.

Huang Yuan, a nurse from the medical team, said: "In the peacekeeping battlefield, we not only ensured the safety of the peacekeepers' lives, but also did our best to help the local people relieve their pain."

  Dai Zhengqin, a mine-clearing operator of the multi-functional engineer unit, said: "We are not only the blue-helmeted soldiers on the minefields, but also the messengers who build a bridge of communication with local women and children. We will actively respond to the UN's military gender equality advocacy and continue to complete each item well. mission and contribute to UN peacekeeping operations."

  In response to the call of the United Nations, China has increased the proportion of women participating in peacekeeping operations in recent years, sending more than 1,000 female officers and soldiers to participate in UN peacekeeping operations.

It is reported that among the more than 400 officers and soldiers of the 20th batch of Chinese peacekeeping troops to Lebanon, 16 female soldiers are included.

Since their deployment in August last year, female mine-clearing operators have successfully destroyed more than 100 landmines, and female medical staff have assisted in humanitarian medical assistance on many occasions.

The outstanding combat effectiveness and affinity of Chinese female soldiers have been highly praised by friendly troops and local people.
