A 16-year-old girl was injured while downhill skiing on a slope in Grand-Bornand (Haute-Savoie) on Tuesday.

The girl hit her mother and injured her pelvis.

She was taken care of by rescuers on site before being airlifted to Annecy hospital (Haute-Savoie), reports

This is not the only mountain intervention carried out by the Dragon 74 civil security helicopter that day.

The rescuers also assisted a young woman on the Bellevaux via ferrata (Haute-Savoie).

Stuck on the course, she was brought to safety.
