The US State Department commented on Le Pen's statement about a possible rapprochement between Russia and NATO

Earlier, Le Pen announced plans after the end of hostilities in Ukraine to offer NATO a strategic rapprochement with Russia.

She also said that if she wins the presidential election, she intends to withdraw France from NATO's unified military command.
