The Presidential Transition Committee announced today (13th) that "it must be stopped immediately" in relation to the 'Inspection and Removal of the Prosecutor's Office' (completely deprived of the prosecution's investigative power) that the Democratic Party is promoting.

"The complete abolition of the prosecution's investigative power is directly contrary to the purpose of the Constitution, which grants prosecutors the right to apply for a warrant, and is equivalent to an act of subverting the constitution," the transition committee's political affairs and judicial administration division said in a statement today.

The transition committee said, "Reorganization or adjustment of the criminal justice system should be pursued only from the perspective of criminal justice for the people. It neutralizes the state's investigative function."

"An attempt to neutralize the investigative power of the Prosecutor's Office, a judicial institution given within the government, before the inauguration of the new government, by completely abolishing it, is interfering with the new president's operation of state affairs," he added.
