It is noted that finances will allow airlines to compensate for "lost revenues resulting from the termination of transportation contracts with passengers in connection with the cancellation of international and (or) domestic flights in the face of external sanctions pressure."
The Cabinet emphasized that the draft order "has been prepared in order to mitigate the negative impact of the sanctions" that some countries have imposed against Russia and Russian legal entities.
Earlier, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree on temporary rules for the fulfillment of obligations of Russian airlines and organizations to foreign companies.
