Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council: No matter what economic framework Taiwan wants to participate in, it must comply with the one-China principle

　　China News Service, April 13th. The Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council held a regular press conference today. Spokesman Ma Xiaoguang said on the US invitation to Taiwan to participate in the so-called "Indo-Pacific Economic Framework". No matter what economic framework China Taiwan wants to participate in, the premise must be In line with the one-China principle.

　　A reporter asked: Several U.S. House of Representatives recently called on the Biden administration to invite Taiwan to participate in the so-called "Indo-Pacific Economic Framework".

The DPP authorities said they would seek U.S. support for this.

We oppose Taiwan's participation in any official economic and trade arrangement or signing of an official economic and trade agreement.

　　Ma Xiaoguang said that as for the U.S. government's constant hype about the concept of "Indo-Pacific" and the so-called "Indo-Pacific strategy," it is essentially an attempt to create a small circle to contain China.

The DPP authorities are trying to squeeze into such a small circle, fully exposing its nature of "relying on the United States to seek independence" and provoking the mainland.
