Moscow calls on Washington not to spread misinformation about chemical weapons in Ukraine

Today, the Russian Embassy in Washington called on the United States not to spread misleading information about the use of chemical weapons in Ukraine.

In a statement via the Telegram application, the embassy urged Washington to intensify its efforts in the process of destroying its chemical weapons, pointing out that: "weapons of this type pose a real threat to humanity."

"We call on Washington to stop spreading disinformation. Instead, colleagues should step up their country's chemical disarmament process. The United States remains the only state party to the Chemical Weapons Convention that has not fulfilled its international obligations regarding its arsenal," the embassy said.
