Marine Le Pen says she accepts results of referendum in Crimea

She said this in an interview with BFM.

"I do not regret it, because the decision on the status of Crimea was adopted in a referendum," - said Le Pen, quoted by Tass.

So she answered the question of making it Kiev in the list of undesirable persons in Ukraine.

In 2017, Le Pen also announced that she would recognize Crimea as Russian territory if she wins the presidential election in France.

According to her, "Crimea's belonging to Ukraine was only an administrative issue of the Soviet times, the peninsula was never Ukrainian."

Crimea became a Russian region after a referendum held there in March 2014: the majority of residents voted for reunification with Russia.
