A house in the district of Richemond, in west London, has been talking about it lately on the Internet.

And for good reason, it is an English property called “invisible” because it is made up of mirrors which cover its facade and this ensures that it blends completely into the landscape, spotted

A former commercial unit bought by a family

“I have lived in the neighborhood for about ten years.

I've passed it several times and I've never seen it, ”said a user on the My London site after discovering this curiosity.

This house is actually a former commercial premises which was bought in 2015 by a family who have now lived there since 2019. If the mirrors cover the facade of the property, the rear has however retained a Victorian style specific to the majority of houses in the London area.

“Sometimes we see people combing their hair”

The family explained why their home took on such a look: “It was an idea from our architect, Alex Haw.

The mirror would allow the house to interact with its environment.

You can see the trees on the roundabout and the clouds reflecting on the house”.

From inside, the owners can observe everything that happens in the street, without being seen.

"Sometimes we see people combing their hair, it's fun," they slipped.
