Gnosjö municipality makes a real surplus last year.

The sum ends at 27.1 million, which is about 14 million over budget.

Now the governing parties in the municipality are proposing that one million of the surplus should go back to the employees in a bonus, Värnamo Nyheter reports today.

- We have experienced a very tough period with pandemic, especially for all our employees.

The proposal is that everyone who has a monthly employment on 1 May this year receives SEK 1,300 extra on their salary before tax, a lump sum, says Kristine Hästmark (M), chairman of the municipal board to the newspaper.

The Sweden Democrats support the proposal, which will be hammered out in the City Council at the end of April.
