Recently, the 31-year-old Egyptian swimmer Omar Hegazi, who lost his left leg, broke two Guinness World Records and attracted attention.

He first dived into the water and swam 56.48 meters in one breath, and then swam 76.7 meters in one breath with fins on.

According to the report, one day in 2015, Hegazi, who was still a bank clerk, collided with a large truck on a motorcycle, and his left leg was amputated due to serious injuries.

While in hospital, a once-frustrated Hegazi was unintentionally inspired to try swimming by Lebanese amputee fitness trainer Darlene Babar who broke the world record.

Hegazi said that swimming became an outlet for him to vent, and he also really felt free and useful.

In addition to breaking two Guinness World Records, Hegazi became the first single-leg swimmer to swim across the Gulf of Aqaba in the Red Sea in 2017, arriving on the Jordanian side.

In addition, he has completed the 700km cycling challenge.
