The Central Meteorological Observatory continued to issue rainstorm forecasts at 06:00 on April 12.

Yesterday, there was heavy rain in Sichuan, Chongqing and other places, and there were strong winds and cooling sand and dust in many places in the north.

  From 08:00 yesterday to 06:00 today, there were heavy rains in parts of southern Hebei, central and northern Shandong, and eastern Jilin; heavy rains occurred in eastern Sichuan and southwestern Chongqing, and local heavy rains (101-137 mm) in Zigong, Yibin and Ziyang, Sichuan, the largest The hourly rainfall is 20-40 mm, and the local area is more than 60 mm.

Thunderstorms and strong winds occurred locally in southern Liaoning, central and southern Hebei, northern and southern Shanxi, central and southern Shandong, central and northern Henan, central Shaanxi, eastern and southern Sichuan, western Chongqing, and southwestern Yunnan. Hailstorms occurred in the south and other places.

In addition, blowing sand or floating dust occurred in parts of the southern Xinjiang Basin, northern Qinghai, central and eastern Gansu, central and western Inner Mongolia, Ningxia, central and northern Shaanxi, Shanxi, Hebei, Beijing, and Henan.

Strong cold air affects eastern China

  Affected by the strong cold air, from the 12th to the 14th, large-scale cooling occurred successively in most parts of eastern China from west to east.

The temperature in most areas will drop by 6 to 8 °C, and the temperature in some areas of Huanghuai, Jianghuai, Jianghan, and northern Jiangnan will reach 10 to 12 °C, with local temperatures above 12 °C, and the maximum temperature during the day will drop significantly (see Figure 1); After the influence of the cold air, the process minimum temperature line of 0 °C is located in the northern part of Xinjiang, Gansu, northern North China and northern Liaoning, and the process minimum temperature line of 10 °C is located along the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River to northern Sichuan.

On the 12th, there were winds of magnitude 4 to 5 in Huanghuai, Jianghuai, and eastern Jianghan, and gusts of magnitude 6 to 7.

From the 13th to the 15th, there were winds of magnitude 6 to 7 and gusts of magnitude 8 in the southern Yellow Sea, the East China Sea, the Taiwan Strait and other waters.

The Central Meteorological Observatory continued to issue strong wind and cooling forecasts at 06:00 on April 12.

Heavy rainfall in Chongqing, Hubei, Anhui and other places

  From the 12th to the 13th, there were moderate to heavy rains in parts of Chongqing, Hubei, Anhui, Jiangsu, Hunan, Guizhou, Guangxi, Jiangxi, Fujian, Zhejiang, Shanghai and other places, and heavy rains in some areas.
