“Currently, employees of the Rostov Research Institute of Microbiology and Parasitology of Rospotrebnadzor are developing a domestic vaccine preparation for the immunoprophylaxis of rotavirus infection in children,” the report says.
Rospotrebnadzor noted that in the near future they plan to conduct preclinical studies of the drug.
On April 1, the Russian Ministry of Health registered the world's first nasal vaccine against COVID-19 coronavirus infection.
The drug has already entered civilian circulation.
