After the Hauts-de-France, the president-candidate Emmanuel Macron goes to the Grand-Est this Tuesday, and in particular to Strasbourg to invest the subject of Europe, central in his program.

The outgoing president will also go to Mulhouse, to discuss with caregivers and put health issues at the heart of the between-two-rounds.

Emmanuel Macron, this time determined to beat the campaign, has increased travel and exchanges.

The Head of State will go to the outskirts of Mulhouse, to a rehabilitation center.

He will talk for about an hour with about fifteen caregivers.

Health and safety on the program

The outgoing president wants to put health issues at the heart of this in-between rounds, he who is regularly criticized by some of his opponents for the management he had during the Covid crisis.

It will therefore address the theme of health, but also that of safety.

Then, he will take the direction of Châtenois, a few kilometers away.

This town has video protection.

Emmanuel Macron will meet residents and traders to discuss this theme dear to the right-wing electorate.

A concession on the retirement age

And then, this evening, his teams prepared a rally in the center of Strasbourg for a speech on Europe.

But during this day which promises to be very dense, Emmanuel Macron risks being overtaken by questions about his pension reform.

He said he was ready to move and now mentions 64 instead of 65 as the starting age.

A concession that looks like a retreat to try to seduce the electorate of Jean-Luc Mélenchon, while at the same time, he received this morning the support of Nicolas Sarkozy or that of Lionel Jospin.

Great political gap.

The first reaction of the candidate to his supporters is eagerly awaited.
