IK Oskarshamn has made history by reaching the quarterfinals of the Swedish Championship play-offs for the first time.

So far, IKO and Rögle have won three matches each, and the seventh match on Tuesday night will therefore be absolutely decisive.

- If we win, it's fantastic, but if we lose, we can still look back on a season with approved praise, says Martin Åkerberg, club manager.

Two fully loaded buses with IKO supporters stopped at a gas station in Växjö to pick up more supporters along the way.

- I did not get time off to go to Timrå and watch the match there.

But now it's a historic match, the club has never been close to talking in those terms even.

You do not want to miss that, says supporter Markus Andersson, who jumped on the bus in Växjö.

Tickets sold out

There is no doubt that there is hockey fever in Oskarshamn.

The arena has been filled with IKO's home matches, which SVT told about earlier.

- There has been a huge interest in the home matches.

Everything has been sold out, says Martin Åkerberg.

If IKO wins the match against Rögle, the Swedish Championship semi-final against Färjestad awaits.
