A violent road accident occurred on the night of Friday to Saturday in Trébeurden (Côtes-d'Armor).

Shortly after midnight that night, a horse and donkey were spotted wandering around town.
The two animals had obviously managed to leave their pasture, according to the deputy mayor of Trébeurden who was called to intervene.
The corpse of the horse quickly cleared
After joining a departmental road, the horse was violently hit by a car.
The occupants, a couple in their sixties, were not injured in the crash, but the horse died instantly and the car was damaged.
The gendarmerie and the road services intervened and cleared the body of the animal using a truck and a backhoe.
The operations ended around 3 a.m. and traffic, which was not very dense at that time, was able to resume on the departmental road.
