"Ride on a single rope at the highest point in the world"

Brazilian slackline player Rafael Zugno Bridi sets another world record.

According to foreign media such as the Hindustan Times on the 10th local time, when Bridi succeeded in walking on a single rope floated at 1,901m, he broke the world record for the '1,860m high slack line' that he had set earlier.

The slackline challenged by Breedy is a kind of single-line walking, a sport where you ride on a loose rope for balance.

Most of the slacklines are done in tall trees, etc., and he specifically tried to 'walk' by attaching a rope to two hot air balloons.

In response, the Guinness Association recently released a video of Breedy through the official SNS and announced his new record, "Walking the highest slackline – Rafael Zugno Breedy's 1,901m".

The released video shows Bridy walking on a prosthesis on a 1-inch-wide string between two hot air balloons floating over Praia Grande, Santa Catarina, Brazil.

White clouds fill under Breedy's feet, and Breedy climbs onto a single rope swaying in the wind, balancing and heading towards the hot air balloon on the other side.

"Briedi crossed the rope barefoot at twice the height of the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa (828 m) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates," the association added.

The height (1,901m) that Breedy challenged is equivalent to the height of Jirisan in Korea (1,915m).

Netizens who saw this left comments such as "My legs are shaking" and "I can't believe it even when I'm watching", applauding his dizzying challenge.

The video has been played over 870,000 times as of the 12th, and has received over 79,200 likes.

"The feeling of floating in the sky and the freedom of freedom have always motivated me to practice the slackline," said Breedy.

This is a 'news pick'.
