China News Agency, Beijing, April 11 (Ma Shuisha) According to the China Manned Space Engineering Office, the Long March 7 Yao-5 carrier rocket that carried out the launch of the Tianzhou-4 cargo spacecraft has completed all the research and development work before leaving the factory. On the 11th, it was safely transported to Wenchang Space Launch Site.

After that, the Long March 7 Yao 5 carrier rocket will carry out the final assembly and testing of the launch site area together with the Tianzhou 4 cargo spacecraft that has arrived earlier.

At present, the facilities and equipment of the launch site are in good condition, and the systems participating in the test are preparing for various tasks in an orderly manner.

The Long March 7 carrier rocket is a new generation of medium-sized two-stage liquid bundled carrier rockets, which was developed to meet the requirements of the Chinese space station project to launch cargo spacecraft.

It can deliver a 13.5-ton payload into low-Earth orbit with a perigee of 200 kilometers and apogee of 400 kilometers.

As the messenger to deliver goods and propellants to the space station and space science laboratory, the Tianzhou cargo spacecraft is affectionately known as the "courier boy" in space.

It is understood that after the Shenzhou 13 astronaut crew stays in orbit for 6 months and returns to the ground, the Chinese space station will be transferred to the construction stage.

At that time, China will launch six spacecraft, Tianzhou-4, Shenzhou-14, Wentian experimental module, Mengtian experimental module, Tianzhou-5 and Shenzhou-15, and complete the space station in 2022.
