When asked in an NHK opinion poll about the impact of successive price increases on food and utilities on households, 70% of the respondents answered that they were "influencing".

NHK conducted a poll for three days from the 8th of this month using a method called "RDD" that calls fixed-line and mobile phone numbers randomly generated by computers for people aged 18 and over nationwide.


The number of people surveyed was 2,271, and 54%, or 1235, responded.

When asked how much the successive price increases of food, daily necessities, and utilities have affected households, 22% said they had a large impact, 48% said they had a certain impact, and they did not have much impact. Was 20%, and "not affected at all" was 3%.

It has become mandatory for businesses and others to reduce disposable plastic products such as convenience store spoons and hotel toothbrushes.


When asked how conscious they are not to use disposable plastic products, 22% said they were "very conscious", 45% said they were "somewhat conscious", and "not very conscious". Was 21%, and "not conscious at all" was 6%.

When asked if they plan to travel or go home during the Golden Week holidays, 7% said they had a plan, 68% said they had no plans, and 20% said they hadn't decided yet.



Compared to the survey last April, "I have a plan" increased by 4 points, while "I have no plan" decreased by 10 points.
