It was at 08.30 on Monday morning that almost 3,400 electricity customers in the Djurgårds area, in Söder, in Skogsängen, Snopptorp and Viptorp, were affected by a power outage.
According to Sara Jonsson, operations manager for electricity networks at Eskilstuna energy and environment, it was about an excavator inside the hospital area digging an electric cable.
- They are working and building there, she says.
According to Sara Jonsson, technicians have been deployed to switch the electricity so that it can reach customers again.
A first forecast is that the electricity will be back at eleven o'clock on Monday morning, but according to Sara Jonsson it can go faster than that.
