With more than seven and a half million votes, Jean-Luc Mélenchon rallied a young and popular audience, an electorate that the two contenders will compete for.

The rebellious candidate called not to give a voice to Marine Le Pen.

But what will these voters do?

Europe 1 went to meet them in Pantin, in Seine-Saint-Denis.

Jean-Luc Mélenchon easily won the first round of the presidential election in Pantin, where he won more than 53.8% of the vote.

In this city of Seine-Saint-Denis, the rebellious voters met by Europe 1 do not all agree on the interpretation to be drawn from the instructions of their candidate, pronounced this Sunday: we must "not give a single voice to Marine Le Pen".

"Either they vote Macron, or they make a blank vote"

For Mélina, for example, Jean-Luc Mélenchon suggests that no candidate should be supported.

"I think he does not give specific instructions to vote for Mr. Macron, I deduced that it was rather a blank vote."

Conversely, Hélène considers that Jean-Luc Mélenchon offers a choice to his voters.

"I understood that it was important not to vote for Mrs. Le Pen, quite simply. So people do what they want. Either they vote for Mr. Macron, or they make a blank vote."

As for her, her choice will be abstention.

But others, like Valérie, believe that the table must be reversed and therefore choose to go from one extreme to the other.

On April 24, she will vote for Marine Le Pen because "at the level of opinions, there are things on which I don't agree at all with Macron. All that he has done in five years, I don't don't think it's good. It's more of a vote against Mr. Macron".

The two candidates in the second round therefore now have fifteen days to seduce the electorate of Jean-Luc Mélenchon.
