Sad evening for the voters of Jean-Luc Mélenchon.

Sunday evening, the leader of rebellious France came in third position, behind Emmanuel Macron and Marine Le Pen, with 22% of the vote.

What do his supporters intend to do for the second round?

If Jean-Luc Mélenchon repeated that no vote should go to Marine Le Pen, part of his electorate could disobey him… Report in Toulouse.

What do the voters of Jean-Luc Mélenchon intend to do in the second round?

Disappointed with the result of the first round of the presidential election, which eliminated their leader and acclaimed Marine Le Pen and Emmanuel Macron, some of them may not go to the polls, vote blank or vote Marine Le Pen.

Report in Toulouse.

"We must not support the dynamics of the far right"

First of all, there is a lot of bitterness for those voters who believed in it until late last night.

And now it's time for a choice that leaves Bruno rather perplexed.

"In the second round, it's difficult. We must not support the dynamics of the far right in France", he confides on Europe 1. Me, I'm going to give myself a little time.

I have a lot of trouble putting out a bulletin for Emmanuel Macron.

It's not possible to take it back for 5 years". Michèle is a student at the University of Mirail. At 21, it was her first presidential election. She refuses to choose between the two finalists.

"I'm thinking of voting blank because neither of the candidates suits me and I don't know which one would be the best. You have to vote for the least worst. For me, it's impossible to choose one of the two in the lead, so I think that it will end in a blank vote and I have the impression that it will be the same for the students".

"I will not vote Marine Le Pen"

But for Martine, things are much clearer.

For her, the Republican front must continue to hold.

"Anyway, I don't vote Marine Le Pen, that's for sure. Neither white," she says on Europe 1. "We will vote Macron hoping that Macron will understand the message".

And many of these left-wing voters are now counting on the legislative elections, especially here after the very high score achieved by Jean-Luc Mélenchon, but also on the mobilizations in the streets in the coming weeks, they promise.
