“In Slavyansk, Donetsk People’s Republic, territorial defense militants are conducting punitive raids to check local residents for any signs of pro-Russian views,” Mizintsev said.
According to him, the reason for the detention of residents of Slovyansk are the history of calls to Russian numbers found in the phones, correspondence condemning the current regime, subscriptions to Russian channels in social networks and others.
“The detainees are taken away in an unknown direction, subjected to brutal torture, threatened with transfer to the SBU, as well as physical violence against relatives (murder, gang rape of wives and daughters), and are also forced to equip strongholds and checkpoints,” he said.
According to him, "to get rid of this torment, they extort money in the amount of $ 500 to $ 1000."
Mizinev also said that dozens of detainees "never returned home."
Earlier, the Ministry of Defense stated that a network of foreign specialists is currently operating in Ukraine, who are preparing anti-Russian provocations.
