Bad news for users of the Nantes tramway.
From this Monday and for two weeks, half of line 2 will be cut.
Until April 24, work will indeed take place along the Petit-Port boulevard in Nantes, which generates an interruption between the Saint-Félix and Orvault-Grand Val stations, indicates Semitan.
During this period, no train will run but a tram relay bus will run every 4 minutes during peak hours, 6 during off-peak hours.
The journey will take 23 to 28 minutes.
The work will concern an original switch located between the Facultés and Morrhonnière-Petit Port stations and installed in 1994, which has now become too worn.
"The work requires laying the cobblestones, releasing the fasteners, removing the switch, replacing it with a new one and re-laying the coating", specifies the TAN.
Note that line 2 will again be cut for works from Monday June 6 to Sunday June 26, 2022, this time between Bourgeonnière and Orvault-Grand Val.
This will involve replacing some 90 meters of rails between Bourgeonnière and Boissière.
