Marion Maréchal was the guest of Europe 1 this Monday morning.

The day after the first round of the presidential election, the niece of Marine Le Pen, support of Eric Zemmour, deplored the mechanics of the "useful vote" which would have served the candidate of Reconquest!.

With around 7% of the vote, the former journalist came fourth, well behind the RN candidate and Jean-Luc Mélenchon.

For Marion Maréchal, Eric Zemmour was also "a victim of caricatures and prejudice" during the campaign.

INTERVIEW

How to explain the defeat of Eric Zemmour in the first round of the presidential election?

For Marion Maréchal, who joined the ranks of Reconquête!, the former polemicist was "public enemy number 1" of the campaign.

Victim of "caricatures and prejudices", the former polemicist, present in the French media landscape for ten years, would not have had the time to "really make himself known to the French", according to the niece of Marine Le pen.
