A duo suspected of around thirty store burglaries in Grenoble

A 44-year-old man and a 42-year-old woman were arrested this weekend by departmental security police in Grenoble (Isère).

They are suspected of numerous burglaries, reports

.

The duo were arrested near a hair salon in the city center which had just been “visited”.

The man was in possession of the business manager's laptop.

Another shop had been robbed earlier in the night from Saturday to Sunday.

The investigation continues

Placed in police custody, the duo could actually have committed many more than two burglaries.

Since February 20, many brands have been victims of thieves in the center of Grenoble.

The police suspect the couple to be behind all these burglaries.

If the elements collected during the investigation and the CCTV images of the shops prove it, the two forties could thus have robbed no less than 36 stores in a month and a half.

Investigations are continuing at present.
