The crash of a passenger plane killed three people this Sunday morning at Saint-Brieuc airport in the town of Trémuson (Côtes-d'Armor), we learned from the firefighters.
The accident happened shortly after 11:15 a.m.
For an as yet undetermined reason, the machine crashed into a field just after takeoff, hitting an embankment head-on.
The toll is very heavy with three victims to be deplored, the pilot in his fifties and a young couple in their twenties.
All three occupants of the passenger plane died on impact.
An investigation was opened by the gendarmerie to determine the causes of the accident.
