Since February 2022, the Strasbourg Anti-Narcotics Office (OFAST) has been investigating a small group of people involved in drug trafficking.
The “head of the network” took orders by telephone and dispatched them to a small team of deliverers covering the whole of the Strasbourg conurbation.
During a major police operation on Tuesday April 5, four men, adults and unfavorably known to the police, were arrested.
Narcotics and a weapon with its ammunition
An apartment used as a "nurse" was searched and led to the discovery of 6.8 kg of heroin, 13 kg of cannabis resin, and 3 kg of herbal cannabis and 60 grams of cocaine as well as packaging material and an M16 type assault rifle with its ammunition.
The products have a resale market value estimated by the police at 160,000 euros.
On the other hand, 21,000 euros in cash were discovered during the various searches.
The four arrested were indicted by a Strasbourg investigating judge who will seek placement under a warrant of committal.
