The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced - in a press statement - the death of a citizen by Israeli bullets in the town of Al-Khader in Bethlehem in the southern West Bank, bringing the number of martyrs on Sunday to 3 after two women in Bethlehem and Hebron, while the Israeli police killed an Israeli by mistake in the city of Ashkelon.

Local sources reported that the martyr is Mohammed Ali Ghoneim, 21, from the town of Al-Khader, and said that he arrived at Al-Yamamah Hospital in Al-Khader, and he was seriously injured after being shot by the Israeli army during clashes that erupted in the town.

In turn, the official Palestinian news agency (Wafa) said that the young man was shot in the back that came from his chest, while he was in the vicinity of his house located near the apartheid wall in the town of Al-Khader.

Earlier, a Palestinian woman was martyred by the occupation forces for allegedly attempting to carry out a stabbing attack at the entrance to the Ibrahimi Mosque, hours after another was shot dead by the occupation near Bethlehem.

Palestinian citizens of Husan town (west of Bethlehem) attended the funeral of the first martyr, Ghada Ibrahim Sabatien, who was shot dead by the Israeli occupation soldiers.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health said that the 47-year-old martyr, Sabatin, arrived at Beit Jala Hospital with a bleeding and a cut in the leg artery, and she had lost a large amount of blood.

Eyewitnesses confirmed that Sebatin was stopped by a soldier at the military checkpoint at the entrance to the town, and spoke to her, but another soldier fired live bullets at her lower body without posing any danger.

Citizens were able to free her from the occupation soldiers to take her to the hospital, minutes after the soldiers tried to detain her. The soldiers fired tear gas canisters to disperse a number of Palestinians who had gathered at the site.
