According to initial information to the police, several shots were fired at the courtyard and an area has been cordoned off.
Among other things, the police are conducting dog searches in the area and are also trying to identify any witnesses to the shooting.
A man in his 25s was arrested at 16:18.
- He is known to the police from before and is suspected of attempted murder, says Johan Borg, acting local police area manager in Värnamo.
Later on Saturday night, TT reported that the arrested man had been arrested.
In addition to attempted murder, he is also suspected of a felony.
Increases presence in the area
At present, it is unknown if any person has been injured in connection with the shooting.
