On Friday, they were handed out - about 40 tickets to HIF's Allsvenskan home premiere.

The tickets were received with joy and cheers.

One of those who wants to go to the match is Anastasiia Kostylova, who four weeks ago fled her hometown of Chernihiv in northern Ukraine with her eight-year-old daughter and mother.

- At home in Chernihiv, my husband and I often went to football and saw our local team FC Desna play.

It will be so fun to watch Swedish football and to be able to do something that can dispel thoughts, she says.

Everything has changed

Because today, everything has changed in her and her family's lives.

Anastasiia Kostylova, her daughter and mother have fled to Sweden.

Remaining at home in Ukraine is her husband who is a firefighter.

- Our football arena in Chernihiv is bombed, she says and shows pictures of an arena that has been turned into a ruin.

This is information that the English television company BBC has also reported on and which has been confirmed by Ukrainian authorities.

Funny if we can help them

It was Dimitrij Aleshkov, chairman of the Russian-Ukrainian association Slavic, who asked HIF for tickets.

- These people need something fun to do together, he says.

Anna Eklund, head of sustainability at HIF, welcomes the Ukrainians to the match.

- It's so fun if we can help them dispel the thoughts and offer a moment of joy.

We can imagine doing that again, both with Ukrainian refugees and other groups that contact us, she says.
