The snow weather and summer tires pose problems: "We saw nothing"

Despite the snowstorm, there is a lot of traffic on the roads north along the E4.

During the day, several minor accidents and jams occurred due to the fact that many had time to change to summer tires on their cars.

Most people that SVT Gävleborg talks to at a rest area along the E4, however, had the stud left under the tires.

- It's pretty awful that it came so surprising.

When we traveled to Sweden from Finland, we did not expect this storm, says Katja Lukin-Keiski.

The Swedish Transport Administration warns

Bengt Olsson, press manager at the Swedish Transport Administration, reckons that one or two road users have changed to summer tires a little too soon, and therefore calls for caution.

- If you have summer tires and are in the Gävle area, northern Uppsala and a little north along the Baltic coast, you should probably consider whether to go out with summer tires at all, says Bengt Olsson.
