See the jam in the clip above and hear about the wait for the rescuer.

The home care service has had to reschedule today due to the snowstorm.

You can only do the most important things and have called some customers and urged them to try to manage the food themselves.

In several places, the home care staff have not been able to continue driving with their cars.

There has been so much snow that the cars got stuck when staff visited a customer.

Employees have had to wade in the snow and left the cars.

Do the absolutely necessary

- We only do the absolutely necessary right now.

I have also called in all the extra staff that can be obtained. The most difficult situation is in the villages.

But I hope we can reach all our customers, says Andreas Lindberg, unit manager at the social administration in Umeå.

After an hour and 30 minutes, the rescuer arrives at Jan who was sitting and freezing in the home care car.

- There is a lot to do right now.

After I pulled Jan up, I have 14 more customers.

It rings all the time, says Mattias Nordenberg who drives a lifeguard in Umeå.
