The family campsite Frevisören near Båtskärsnäs outside Kalix is run by Nordic Lapland, they have six full-time employees and three times more employees during the high season.
The facility is popular, including with French people who want to relax with dog sleds and scooters.
- We have had a couple of difficult years, but now it is starting to go well again and we hope to be able to build on that, says co-owner Sebastian Jonsson.
"Devastating electricity prices"
The year-round campsite has no problems with wind turbines today and the new ones that will be placed will be sea-based.
- It will probably not bother us.
But we are worried about electricity prices that soared during the winter.
We must secure electricity prices and avoid shock increases, says Sebastian Jonsson.
