On March 20, local time, South Korean President-elect Yoon Seok-wyeh held the first press conference after the establishment of the Presidential Handover Committee, and announced the "Blue House Presidential Office Relocation Plan".

Yin Xiyue announced that the Office of the President will be moved to the Ministry of Defense Building.

  It is reported that in order to prevent the leakage of confidential documents, the Ministry of National Defense of South Korea started the destruction work from the previous day, and trained staff and relocation companies in advance.

  The departments that officially started the relocation on that day were departments other than the Office of the Minister of Defense, the Office of the Undersecretary, the Office of National Defense Policy, and the Office of Planning and Adjustment.

The main command departments of the Ministry of National Defense on the 1st to 4th floors will begin to relocate after the joint military exercise between South Korea and the United States in the first half of this year, and is expected to be completed on the 14th of next month, a week after Yin Xiyue took office.

  Yin Xiyue was elected in the 20th presidential election on March 10. On March 20, it was announced that the presidential office would be moved out of the Blue House and moved to the Ministry of National Defense Building in Yongsan District, Seoul.

  The new building of the Ministry of National Defense was completed at the end of October 2003, and various departments of the Ministry of National Defense moved in in early November of the same year.

After a lapse of 19 years, the Ministry of National Defense will move out of the new building and move to the Joint Staff Headquarters and the previous office building of the Defense Business Office.
