Never have there been so many private jobs in Ile-de-France.

A logical record when you are part of a growth model like ours, but which proves that the health crisis is largely behind us.

At the end of 2021, there were therefore 4.8 million salaried jobs in the private sector, up 2.9% over one year, according to Urssaf figures.

This increase nevertheless remains a little lower than that at the national level (+3.7%).

“Immediately more impacted by the health crisis than the other regions, Ile-de-France is taking longer to find all the engines of its growth”, explains Urssaf.

Over one year, there were 137,300 jobs created, mainly in the tertiary sector, because if construction stabilizes, industrial employment is struggling and loses 0.4%, almost below the 400,000 job mark.

The reindustrialization of Ile-de-France is not for now.

In addition, stigma of the crisis, partial unemployment is still in force in certain sectors such as transport or catering.

“Despite the sharp declines observed in the last two quarters, partial unemployment shows levels five times higher than before the crisis”, indicates Urssaf.

Better wages in the 92

In detail, it is in Paris where the most jobs have been created with + 4.8% year-on-year ahead of Val-d'Oise and Val-de-Marne (+ 2.9%).

On the other hand, dunce cap for the Yvelines which only gains 0.6% of jobs.

Regarding the average salary per head (SMPT), it is up 6.7% in Ile-de-France (against + 5.9% in France) to reach 3,581 euros gross.

Then, there are notable differences between rich and poor departments.

In Hauts-de-Seine, the average salary per head is 4,563 euros gross (Thank you La Défense), when it is only 2,960 euros in 93, 2,649 in Val-d'Oise or 2,582 in Seine -et-Marne.

In Paris, it is displayed at 3,967 euros gross.
