SOS Alarm has received a handful of alarms during the night.

Half of these seem to be about trees that have fallen across the road and the other half about accidents.

According to the police, however, no one was involved in any serious injuries.

Several cases of power outages have been reported and at most about 2,000 customers have been without electricity in the county.

Some of the breaks are still going on on Friday morning.

The snowstorm has also caused traffic jams in several places.

The first occurred already on Thursday evening on the E20 at Finnerödjabacken.

- When it started, there were six trucks with trailers that had got stuck and as a result, about 20 cars also got stuck, says Ola Olsson, duty officer at the police region Bergslagen.

The plow and salt truck must have been on site at 02.30, but it is unclear in the morning if the stop will last.

On the E18 west of Karlskoga in the direction of Kristinehamn, there will be a traffic stop on Friday morning.

County traffic canceled

Both bus and train traffic are affected by the snowstorm.

Länstrafiken announces that all city traffic in Örebro and Karlskoga and also large parts of the county traffic is suspended for the time being.

Train traffic between Västerås-Hallsberg-Skövde is affected.

If you are going out, you should take it very carefully and pack with the snow shovel you may have had time to put out of the car.

If you have changed tires, you really should not go out, says Ola Olsson.

- Use public transport or work from home as far as possible.
