The case with the planned wind farm has been a serial.

Already in 2008, the building permit was approved and in 2015, the Chinese company Enwind began the establishment in earnest.

But the construction met with protests and the building permit was revoked.

After several trips, the company was again given the right in 2019 to build wind turbines on the site.

By then, the concrete foundations intended for wind turbines had already been laid.

The Norwegian company Cloudberry, which already has plans for wind power in Duvhällen, northeast of Hjälmaren in Eskilstuna municipality, has bought the wind power project at Kafjärden.

Can be less than nine

The investment cost is somewhere between 200-300 million, predicts the company's development manager Tor Arne Pedersen and by 2024 he hopes that the 150 meter high wind turbines will be in operation.

And even if there are permits for nine wind turbines, it is not certain that you will decide to build all of them.

- We will make a detailed plan in the spring and then we will come to a conclusion on how many there will be.

Either there will be nine or there will be fewer.
