A hectic chase took place between Paris and Montereau-Fault-Yonne (Seine-et-Marne) overnight from Monday to Tuesday.

Arrested on the A5
The individual, a young man of 22, stole the emergency vehicle in the 20th arrondissement of Paris.
The police immediately chased him as he took the Ile-de-France ring road and then the A4, passing through several roadblocks.
A CRS vehicle was damaged during its crazy race.
The chase ended after a toll on the A5 as the young driver was heading towards Montereau, his town of residence.
He was arrested when he had just left the ambulance and was trying to flee on foot.
Already known to the police, he was taken to Paris and placed in police custody.
