- No construction housing in the short or long term will be used on Gotland, but the situation can of course change, says Annette Johansson, integration strategist at the County Administrative Board on Gotland.
The Swedish Migration Agency first tries to fill the places on the mainland, according to Annette Johansson.
On Gotland, there are currently about 130 Ukrainian refugees living in housing arranged by private individuals or companies.
But it is important to point out that this type of housing does not receive any financial support from the state.
